We are currently looking for volunteers in communities throughout the City of Springfield to come out and help us make this a successful cleanup effort. Volunteers typically help pickup trash from predetermined streets and lots (see Cleanup Statistics, below). KSB strives to ensure that gloves, trash bags, and bottled water are on hand at the designated Zone Assembly Areas for use by volunteers. Please consider bringing along any rakes or shovels you might put to use. To find out which Cleanup Zone your community is a part of, click here. Volunteers should report to their respective Zone Assembly Area and receive instructions from there. Please see our Volunteer page for more information on volunteering. 
CLEANUP STATISTICS Each year, as required by Keep Amercia Beautiful, KSB conducts a Litter Index prior to its citywide cleanup. This index is used to determine which areas of the city are in most need of attention. Below is a listing of those Indexes. - 2010 Litter Index.  |
